Humans behind

The question, the thinking and the heart behind

The Wealth Read began with a question I couldn’t leave alone:

What if wealth is not only what we own, but what we are doing with one finite life?

That question led to Existential Portfolio Theory, then into the book I am writing, The Wealth of One Life. The Read came later. It is where the question becomes personal.

The point is not to tell you who you are or what to do. It is to help you see your life a little more clearly — and make the next decision from there.

Where this came from

I spent more than twenty years working around wealth in its conventional form: private banking, investing, family wealth, businesses. We became very good at knowing what people owned.

I became much more interested in what those numbers could not tell us. What was the wealth for? What else in a life was being built, neglected, spent or protected?

That is the territory The Wealth School is built to explore.

The thinking behind it

Existential Portfolio Theory asks what changes when portfolio thinking is applied not only to financial assets, but to one finite human life.

The Wealth of One Life takes that question somewhere more personal.

The Wealth Read turns it towards you.
